If a medical component is suspected, or if behavior medication is indicated, a Veterinary Behavior Consultant (VBC) conducts a separate "Pet Behavior History Analysis," then collaborates with your local attending Vet to rule out any underlying subclinical sources of discomfort or to approve behavior medication use.
The ABC coaches the Pet Parent to implement the custom behavior modification plan using any combination of:
- Email
- Phone
- Voice Mail
- Text
- Pictures and Recorded Video
- Live Video Meetings (can be recorded)
NOTE:
- The Consulting limit is 3 hours per month before additional charges may apply.
- The subscriber can request a different ABC if a personality or communication incompatibility is encountered.
